Giving to Camp Bishopswood
Generations of friends and families have given and continue to give gifts to Bishopswood in many different ways.
There are four ways in which you can support the tradition of gift giving at Bishopswood:
A great many people volunteer their time to help camp each year. The two annual work weekends are wonderful opportunities for adults to come to the camp in the off-season to open, close, or otherwise work on the camp property. Check the events section of the webpage to join the next work weekend.
Your Financial Gifts
Although Bishopswood is a ministry of the Episcopal Church, only a small percent of the camp’s budget is subsidized by the church. Also, the camp remains committed to keeping down the cost of attending camp and to the awarding of full and partial scholarships to those children who come from less. It is our goal that cost is never a reason a child cannot attend camp! Therefore, Bishopswood relies on the generosity of past, present, and future members of the community to contribute towards the camp’s financial viability.
